Everything that is alive and living has roots. Grass has roots, trees have roots, and all living plants have roots. But what about animals, do they have roots? They are not a plant and so have no roots like the plants that are maintained by the soil of the earth. They don’t have roots attached to the ground that keep them living like plants. But without the roots of the plants the animals would not be alive, for it is the plants they eat that maintain them as living. But even in this case some still die even as they eat, but what about people? They too must eat the grasses of the field like the animals to maintain living. So where are our roots? What tree maintains us as living beings? Is the earth our tree, which maintains all living beings? Becoming a caretaker of the earth is hard when we work under the leaves of another tree that is out to grow more riches filling the earth with waste. Caretakers of the earth are in constant battle as we support trees. One tree needs our support as little roots spread underneath, as we make wise choices when we make purchases, it is wisdom that causes the other tree to die and another tree to grow. Making wise choices all the time is hard in this world. I say this with experience. Although I say money does not rule my heart, wise choices are hard to make. I do my best to not rush but find when if a great deal comes along its hard to resist. Like the buying of the washer and dryer, they were on clearance and I got a great deal. I was in need of a better washer for some years but made do with what I had for many years. So when the great deal came along it wasn’t my money’s buying power that supplied the great deal. I thanked God for the washer and dryer. It seems to be working fine since Uriah’s mishap the other day. But I think I would like to pass it on to my son Ezra soon, and get a stack to take up less room, in my little house, I call home.
